Goldman’s Marcus targets over 50s with Saga tie-up

The US bank has signed a deal that will give it access to 2.6 million more retail customers in the UK

Goldman Sachs’s retail bank Marcus has signed a deal with Saga, a UK company that specialises in financial services for people over the age of 50, to tap into its 2.6 million-strong consumer base.

The tie-up, announced via a stock exchange statement from Saga on June 11, will involve the two companies jointly launching “long-term savings products” in the autumn. No other details were provided.
