UK aims to roll out antiviral pills later this year

The UK is aiming to have at least two treatments for Covid-19 that people could take at home available by later this year, Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced.

The government has launched an antivirals taskforce, which it said could deploy Covid-19 treatments by the autumn.
