Grey power surges on UK company boards

Directors at the UK's top 100 companies are growing old, with the number over 70 up by 50% to 21 in the past year.

The number of pensioner board members also increased in the FTSE 250 and rose in the Allshare from 75 to 86, according to analysis by Manifest, a proxy voting agency.
