Grohe follows Alfa Laval with junk bond success

German bathroom products maker Grohe has taken advantage of the positive momentum in Europe's high yield bond market to sell €200m of bonds, drawing reluctant German investors into the sub-investment grade market.

Grohe competed the sale late Friday evening, a day after Swedish engineering group Alfa Laval sold a similar €200m ($172m) deal. Both bonds financed leveraged buy-outs from earlier this year.
