GS Capital buys leftover Tullett division

GS Capital Partners, the private equity arm of Goldman Sachs, has sealed its third deal this year with the acquisition of Gains International, a UK data network services specialist, from Tullett, the interdealer broker.

The sale, worth £15.4m (€22.1m), is a leftover from the £251m sale of Tullett & Toyko Liberty to Collins Stewart, the UK stockbroker. Tullett said at the time that it was part of its process of stripping non-core businesses in preparation for the Collins Stewart deal.
