Hawkpoint, the UK corporate finance boutique, has hired a former Deutsche Bank director to its restructuring team.

Andrew Spiers was a restructuring advisory director at Deutsche. He began his career with Morgan Grenfell, which later became part of Deutsche. Deals Spiers has worked on include the bank covenant restructuring of HMV Group, the UK music company, and the restructuring of Dunlop Slazenger, the UK sports equipment group.
