Hawkpoint on deadline to find Teather funds arm buyer

Hawkpoint, the corporate finance adviser, has two months to find a buyer for Teather & Greenwood's private client asset management business.

In August Financial News revealed that Teather & Greenwood, the UK broking firm, had received a number of approaches from parties interested in buying its private client asset management business. At that time Ken Ford, chief executive of Teather & Greenwood, said that those approaches had been turned away.
