Hedge Funds Care, a charity supported by the industry which focuses on child abuse issues, has appointed Dean Backer as president. He replaces John Budzyna, who has completed a second two-year term in the role. Backer has been a partner with Goldman Sachs since 2002, where he is global head of sales and capital introduction in the global securities services business.
