Combined group will have a market value of $6 billion and move its primary listing to New York

Janus Capital and Henderson Group to merge

Janus Capital and Henderson Group said they have agreed to an all-stock merger of equals, creating a global asset manager with $320 billion in assets.

US-based Janus, which counts Bill Gross as one of its star fund managers, and London-based Henderson, one of the largest asset managers in Europe, said the deal will create synergies of at least $110 million.
