The joint venture between Hermes Private Equity Management and the United Overseas Bank Group, a technology fund for Asia, has raised $45m (€49m).

This is first round of fundraising - from investment by its own companies - by the UOB Hermes Asia Technology fund, which has set a target of $150m. It is being advised by UOB's subsidiary UOB Venture Management.
