HIG Europe, the European affiliate of US-based mid-market buyout firm HIG Capital, has returned to market with a second dedicated European fund, according to two investors familiar with the matter.

HIG 'soft-launched' the new effort in February with a webinar for existing investors outlining its investment strategy and return expectations, the people said.
