Hooper joins HBOS investment arm

Marcus Hooper, who recently resigned as head of dealing at Dresdner RCM Global Investors, has been appointed as head of dealing at Insight Investment, the fund management firm owned by UK banking group HBOS.

Hooper will report to investment chief Michael Deakin, who said: "In this new role Marcus will be tasked with managing and developing the first class dealing desk and functions we need to help us deliver our ambitious targets."
