HSBC hires Robin Osmond as chief operating officer in M&A

John Studzinkski, co-head of the corporate, investment banking and markets division at HSBC, has made his second senior hire in a month from Morgan Stanley, his former employer.

Studinski, who was with Morgan Stanley for 23 years before he joined HSBC in March, has hired Robin Osmond as chief operating officer of corporate finance and advisory. Osmond also becomes acting global head of corporate finance, while HSBC seeks a permanent global head.
