HSBC leads Hungary's largest equity deal for seven years

Vienna Capital Partners, the Austrian private equity group, has sold Hungarian forint 88.3bn (€357m) worth of shares in BorsodChem, the Hungarian chemicals company, in the largest Hungarian equity deal for seven years.

HSBC was global coordinator and bookrunner for the offer, which also saw BorsodChem take out a secondary listing in Warsaw.
