HSBC leads $1bn US IPO

HSBC is leading its second US initial public offering with the $1bn (€735m) flotation of a broker dealer. The offer is also the largest deal for joint bookrunner WR Hambrecht using its Dutch auction system.

The two banks are leading the initial public offering of Interactive Brokers, a US electronic marketmaker specialising in routing orders and executing and processing trades in securities, futures and foreign exchange.
