HSBC names co-CIOs for multi-asset funds

Joe Little and Jean-Charles Bertrand take on enhanced leadership roles

HSBC Global Asset Management has promoted two of its senior multi-asset fund managers to co-chief investment officers, handing them enhanced leadership roles in a business key to the bank’s ambitions to tap retail and wealthy investors, particularly in Asia.

The new co-chiefs are Jean-Charles Bertrand, currently head of multi-asset funds in France, and Joe Little, global chief strategist for the franchise. They retain their current roles.
