HSBC sells longest bond

HSBC Bank has created the longest tradable corporate bond in the UK market by selling £150m (€250m) of subordinated debt.

The 6.25% bonds mature in 2041, two years beyond the longest non-government benchmark, the European Investment Bank's 2039 issue.
