The world's largest interdealer broker plans to enact £50m a year cost savings

UK interdealer broker Icap on Wednesday said it plans to overhaul the structure of its business, after posting a 27% fall in net profit due to higher costs related to previous acquisitions and disposals.

Icap, the world's largest interdealer broker by revenue, said net profit attributable to shareholders for the year ended March 31 was £137m, down from £187m a year ago.
