A former Bank of America Merrill Lynch banker has joined an Africa-focused resources investment company as head of corporate development and investor relations, in the latest example of a banker moving to the corporate sector.

Aim-listed International Mining & Infrastructure Corporation, which particularly targets iron ore miners, has appointed Will Smith to help identify long-term opportunities.
