Investment banks have been deluged with job applications from graduates this year, even as they have cut back on entry-level roles. 

The top Wall Street banks received hundreds of thousands of job applications in 2024 — all‑time highs, in many cases — with only a tiny fraction of those succeeding, according to numbers shared with Financial News.
