Intelsat sets tone for satellite IPOs

A decision by Intelsat, the US satellite operator, to file for an initial public offering with the Securities and Exchange Commission, could set the tone for a number of satellite IPOs.

Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch and Lehman Brothers are joint co-leads for the flotation on the New York Stock Exchange.
