International focus weighs on Greenhill despite return to black

Greenhill & Co has returned to the black after a loss in the first quarter, but the US advisory firm blamed slower than expected M&A activity for a big year-on-yer fall.

Greenhill said net profits of $6.2m in the three months to June 30 were 68% lower than a year earlier, although the performance beat its $700,000 loss in the first three months of 2017.
