International LSE listings soar to a record

The London Stock Exchange today said the number of international listings on its main and junior markets hit a record this year.

Non-domestic listings were up 82% from 2004, with international companies raising a total of £5.9bn (€8.7m) from new issues this year, the highest value since 2000.
