International managers bag $11bn from Calpers

The Sacramento-based $165bn (€180bn) California Public Employees' Retirement System (Calpers) has appointed 14 international equity managers to run between $6bn and $11bn.

Calpers has selected Scotland's Baillie Gifford and BlackRock International, Robeco Group from the Netherlands, London-based Schroder Investment Management and Tokyo's Zurich Scudder Investments.
