Internet company's IPO withdrawal is first of the year in US

AMR Research, a Boston-based e-business strategy provider, has become the first company to withdraw an initial public offering in the US this year.

The company has pulled its $75m (€84m) offer on the US Nasdaq. Credit Suisse First Boston was the lead manager with four US banks as co-managers. The IPO filing was made in September 2000.
