Investec bags £40m cash and bond mandate

Investec Asset Management has been appointed by Folgate Insurance Company of the UK to invest its £40m (€60) of assets in cash and bonds.

Tim Philip, finance director of The Folgate Partnership, Folgate Insurance's parent, said the recently established specialist insurance distribution company closed its funds for new business last July. It is now focusing on managing assets to cover existing liabilities, which is why it only invests in cash and bonds.
