Investors to boost French private pension provision by up to €200bn

Firms race to launch products

France's newly created private pension funds are expected to become the country's biggest instrument for savings, dwarfing retail products.

Investors will channel up to €200bn ($244bn) into the industry over the next 15 years to top up their incomes in retirement, according to senior bankers and asset managers.
