Isis marks push into insurance arena with new hire

Isis Asset Management, formed by the integration of Friends Ivory & Sime and Royal & SunAlliance Investments last year, is to target mandates from insurance firms by becoming the first in the UK to hire a head of institutional insurance funds.

Fahim Imam-Sadeque has been hired from Schroder Investment Management where he was director of the global multi-asset team. He will spearhead the firm's efforts to attract outsourced funds from European insurers.
