Javelin opens in London

Javelin Technologies, a company that specialises in making software for the financial information exchange protocol, is setting up offices in London.

Thomas Bossard, head of European operations for the New York-based company, says that Javelin now wants to help to develop Fix as a worldwide standard. Fix is a protocol which allows messages to be sent between trading institutions and exchanges in a standardised format.
