JC boosts financial services portfolio

JC Flowers, the US private equity firm, has bolstered its financial services portfolio following the merger of Fox-Pitt, Kelton, the boutique it bought out alongside management last year, with a specialist insurance adviser.

Fox-Pitt today revealed it was to merge with Cochran Caronia Waller, a boutique that offers investment banking services to the US insurance industry. Financial information relating to the deal was not disclosed.
