Jes Staley’s alma mater, where he is a board member, has investigated the Barclays chief executives links to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein — and is awaiting further findings of a probe by UK regulators into their relationship.

Responding to news that the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority and Prudential Regulation Authority were looking into Staley’s ties to Epstein, Bowdoin, a liberal arts college based in Maine, confirmed it had conducted its own review.
