Jones to re-join Barclays Capital after stint at CSFB

Andrew Jones is to re-join Barclays Capital as a director in debt syndication after little more than a year at Credit Suisse First Boston.

Jones, who left Barclays in early 1999, spearheaded CSFB's return to the commercial paper market. The Swiss-American firm was one of a coterie of investment banks, also including Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, that returned to dealing in commercial paper last year after a lengthy absence.
