JP Morgan Fleming hires global CIO for fixed income

JP Morgan Fleming Asset Management has hired Patricia Cook as global chief investment officer of fixed income less than a month after the firm lost the head of its US equity group.

Cook has been appointed to the new position in New York from Prudential Financial where, for the past two years, she served as chief investment officer of the company's fixed-income management group.
