JPMorgan boss Jamie Dimon’s pay surpasses $34m as bank profit hits record

The JPMorgan board had also awarded Dimon a $50 million special bonus earlier in 2021 outside of annual pay

JPMorgan is paying Chief Executive Jamie Dimon $34.5m for a record-breaking 2021, $3m more than he made in the previous two years.

The nation's biggest bank reported $48.3bn in net income last year, a 66% increase from the prior year and a third more than the old record. The stock rose 25%, but underperformed the S&P 500 and the KBW Nasdaq Bank Index.
