Jupiter’s outflows continue despite asset gains

Withdrawals were predominantly from its European Opportunities fund and fund-of-fund strategies

Jupiter Fund Management, the FTSE 250-listed asset manager, started the year with a continuation of the outflows that plagued it in 2018, as investors pulled a net £500m from funds between January and March.

According to a Jupiter trading update published on April 30 — the first under new chief executive Andrew Formica — the outflows were predominantly from its European Opportunities fund and fund-of-fund strategies.
