KKR hires Hollick to build media presence

Kohlberg Kravis Roberts has appointed former United Business Media chief executive Lord Hollick as a managing director, saying it wants to build a presence in the UK media sector.

Hollick joins in April after 30 years with United Business Media. Last month the company announced David Levin, currently chief executive of Symbian, a wireless technology company, would succeed Hollick as chief executive.
