KKR and Wendel complete Legrand sale

Private equity firms remain controlling shareholders after divesting a minority holding

Wendel, the French investment company, and private equity group Kohlberg Kravis Roberts have completed the joint sale of their 9% stake in French electronics company Legrand at a price of €23.95 per share.

The two companies said late Monday they were planning to sell 23.7 million shares in Legrand through an accelerated book-building to institutional investors.
