Kleinwort Benson targets charities with key hire

The firm has appointed a dedicated head of charities who was previously at Newton Investment Management

UK private bank Kleinwort Benson has shown its intention to attract more business in the philanthropic sector by hiring a dedicated head of charities.

The firm has called on Gemma Woodward for the new role. Her experience in the sector includes over a decade at Newton Investment Management, where she was lead manager on the Socially Responsible Investment Fund for Charities.
