KPMG snares healthcare M&A specialist

KPMG Corporate Finance is hiring a former Robert Fleming and Barings banker, Gerard Gregg-Smith, as global head of healthcare and life sciences.

Gregg-Smith, 43, was previously head of healthcare mergers and acquisitions at Rabobank for two years, but the Dutch bank closed down its team last year. Rabo is now focusing on a small number of sectors, particularly agriculture and food.
