KPN set for tough sale of wireless operator stake

Royal KPN, the Dutch telecoms group, could struggle to find buyers for its 15% stake in Hutchison 3G, the UK wireless operator, according to analysts.

The Dutch firm wrote down the €1.2bn ($1.17bn) it had booked for the stake and said it was no longer a core asset. But analysts said there were unlikely to be many enthusiastic buyers.
