L&G institutional investment tops £10bn over nine months

Legal & General has boosted its institutional funds by over £10bn (€15.9bn) in the first nine months of this year, an increase of 13% over the same period in 2001.

L&G said that the results maintained its record of averaging over £1bn of new UK pension fund business per month since January 1998. L&G's agreement with Barclays Bank whereby the latter distributes L&G's investment products, has proved very successful.
