Ladenburg Thalmann shuffles executives

Brokerage and advisory firm Ladenburg Thalmann Financial Services has made a number of new promotions. Adam Malamed, its co-chief operating officer, will now hold the role on his own. The firm has also appointed David Rosenberg and Peter Blum as co-presidents and chief executive officers of its broker dealer Ladenburg Thalmann & Co. Rosenberg was previously Malamed's co-chief operating officer. Blum was most recently head of Capital Markets at Ladenburg Thalmann & Co. Steven Kaplan will now assume the role of head of capital markets after serving as a managing director in Ladenburg's investment banking group. Mark Zeitchick, the outgoing president and CEO of the broker dealer will continue on as an executive vice president and a member of the firm's board of directors.
