Lansdowne to launch long-only strategy

Lansdowne Partners, one of Europe's largest hedge fund managers, is set to launch its first fund since Morgan Stanley took a 19% stake in the firm last year.

The firm, one of the top three or four largest European hedge fund manager with more than $14bn (€10bn) of assets under management, is set to launch a long-only fund focusing on UK equities, according to a source close to the firm.
