Lazard is hiring Joseph Josephson, an ex-Credit Suisse First Boston technology banker and venture capitalist, as a managing director in its San Francisco office.

Josephson will specialise in information technology and software deals, reporting to Robert Haigney, the head of Lazard in San Francisco. He joins from the technology venture capital firm Bluevector where he was managing partner.
