Lazard starts private equity hiring spree

Lazard, the independent investment bank, has increased the pace of growth in its new pan-European private equity unit promising to recruit six more senior executives within three months.

Graham Keniston-Cooper, hired last month as one half of the new private equity management team, said Lazard is in the process of recruiting one partner and up to five investment managers before June.
