Legal & General hits £100bn mark

Legal & General Investment Management, the UK fund manager, picked up new institutional business worth £2.2bn (€3.2bn) in the three months to September 30 to take assets under management past the £100bn mark.

Just over £2bn of the new money went into Legal & General's pooled funds business during the quarter, making up for a slowdown in segregated mandates where the company won only £80m in new money.
