Legal & General Ventures acquires Jeyes

Legal & General Ventures, the private equity arm of the UK financial services company, has made its third investment this year with the buy-out of Jeyes, the household products business, for €134m ($131m).

The financing package for the acquisition will include €2m of ordinary share capital, €62m of bonds, and €85m of debt. The financing package was provided by Bank of Scotland, Barclays Capital and Scotiabank.
