Lehman finalises $2.6bn asset management acquisition

Lehman Brothers has agreed to pay $2.63bn (€2.3bn) for Neuberger Berman, the US asset management firm.

The acquisition will expand Lehman's private client business and takes its assets under management to more than $100bn. Neuberger specialises in mutual funds, institutional accounts, and alternative investments.
