Libertas squares up to investment banks

Libertas Capital, a UK financial services company, has founded a new firm designed to help hedge funds raise capital. It will pitch it directly against the largest investment banks.

The new company, DNA Advisors, is 70%-owned by Libertas and 30%-owned by John Davies and Lucy Alexander, its two principals. It aims to sell single-manager hedge funds and private equity to funds of hedge funds and family offices in Europe and the Middle East.
