City investment bank Liberum posted a loss of £9m — the first annual loss in its history — as brokers have struggled against the ongoing slump in UK listings.

The investment bank unveiled a £9m loss for 2022, according to annual accounts filed on 4 October, down from a profit of £4.9m a year earlier.
